Art 3 is the third year class level of a four-year curriculum, where your Art 3 student’s critical thinking skills will be put to the test! Projects are designed to challenge and inspire your child, and include five color Block Printing with Registration, Gouache, Sketch and Wash, 12 box Color Design, and Cast Paper.
The skills your child has developed thus far will be taken to a new level! The projects your child will complete in Art 3 will add depth to their portfolio and are projects most young people will never get to experience before college.
Over the course of our 4-year curriculum, your child will develop strong technical skills, explore a big variety of media, gain confidence and build a professional-quality portfolio that opens doors to art scholarships, college programs, and even careers in the creative field.

If your child has completed Art 1 and Art 2 at a Children’s Art Classes studio—and you’ve seen them grow in both skill and confidence—Art 3 is the natural next step in their creative journey. This level is designed to deepen their understanding of art, challenge their developing abilities, and continue building on the strong foundation they’ve already established. If you’ve watched your child thrive in our program, Art 3 will take their artistic growth to the next level.

Within 8 Weeks You’ll See:
Your child will be working through the first major project in Art 3, which will develop their critical thinking skills while introducing an entirely new skill! Week by week, as they begin to master new skills, they’ll feel the excitement of achievement — especially as they complete their first major project in Art 3.
Friendships are strong with our Art 3 students, as they have spent the last two years together in the studio. These friendships are rooted in shared passion and encouragement.

Do parents stay for class?
Most of our families drop off their child for class. Parents who choose to stay may wait in the waiting room area while class is in session.
Can I switch schedules?
Yes. Just contact your teacher to make the switch (provided there is available space).
